a week agoWe booked this (sunset dinner) on recommendation by someone who knew the owners (Bruna). We saw some of their experiences on instagram and our expectation rose. We had not expected, however, that our experience would rise above what we anticipated. Amazing staff; very nice, and funny. And then the food. Never before have I had tuna this fresh and well prepared. Nothing short of exceptional. Definitely recommend, and 100% would do it again.

a month agoWe spent the afternoon with Chef Alfonso and his crew on the Fariniente. It’s a gorgeous boat and we sailed up the coast a bit and then settled into to calm waters for lunch …which was spectacular. We had fresh oysters, bluefin tuna ceviche, shrimp ceviche and cabiniero prawn rice …it was a great day on the water and an even better lunch. Do not hesitate to book the Fariniente ..you will love it and the hospitality is second to none!!

2 months agoWe spent a marvelous evening on board the Salty Far Niente, probably the first real "Summer evening" of the year so far. The sea was flat, the breeze was refreshing and, once we anchored for dinner, prepared by Chef/Captain Afonso and served by skipper, Nuno, we were ready for food. And we weren't disappointed. Our group was unanimous in their high praise for the shrimp mayo, the sardine bruschettas and the amazing Carabineiro rice. An absolutely enchanting experience, enhanced by the warm hospitality of the crew. This was the second time we've taken friends out for a Fariniente. experience and it certainly won't be the last.

2 months agoWe had an amazing cruise and dinner on the Fariniente. The staff was super professional and made us feel very welcome. It was so lovely to cruise around the coast and the pick up was easy from Tavira. Dinner was delicious and the presentation was great too. This is great for a really special and unique occasion in Tavira!

3 months agoI booked this for my fiancé’s birthday, and it was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The crew were so friendly and welcoming, and nothing was too much trouble. They even got us some Prosecco especially, even though they don’t usually stock it, which was such a lovely touch. The food was unbelievable – fresh fish cooked Portuguese style, and honestly some of the best we’ve had. Everything felt so special and well looked after. The views were stunning and made the whole experience even more memorable. It’s definitely something we would do again, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special experience. Absolutely worth every penny!
