in the last weekThe only things really saving this place are the good food and the beautiful setting. We visited around 3 PM, when the restaurant wasn’t particularly busy and the staff didn’t seem overwhelmed. Despite this, the service from the gentlemen upstairs was very cold and unwelcoming. The food was good, but the portions were quite small considering the prices. They also don’t offer tap water, and a 0.75-liter bottle costs €5. It’s a shame to see such a beautiful place let down by poor customer service and questionable value for money. With better service, the prices might be easier to overlook, but as it stands, the overall experience doesn’t quite live up to the setting.

a week agoWe had an exceptional meal here - the best of any of our visits to the Algarve. The staff honoured our request for a table nearest the front and made the evening really special for us. Cocktails were perfectly balanced and thoughtfully presented. Every dish we ordered exceeded expectations - starter portion sizes were easily enough to share. We finished dinner with a drink on the roof terrace which was a perfect end to a wonderful evening. Many thanks - we already can’t wait to return.
