in the last weekWir sind absolut begeistert! Das Essen war einfach nur überragend – jedes Gericht war frisch, perfekt zubereitet und unglaublich lecker. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das Personal: So aufmerksam, freundlich und herzlich wird man wirklich selten bedient. Man hat sich vom ersten Moment an rundum wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Es hat uns so gut gefallen, dass wir während unseres Aufenthalts direkt ein zweites Mal dort essen waren. Das spricht wohl für sich! Vielen Dank für den tollen Service und das fantastische Essen. Wir können dieses Lokal uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

a week agoWe absolutely loved the experience at this restaurant. The owners are incredibly friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about food and wine. Every dish was delicious and well prepared. The wine pairing created by Hugo was perfect for the meal. Overall, this was one of our favorite dining experiences that we have had on our trip. I would highly recommend it for anyone who is traveling to this area.

a week agoLovely welcoming staff and the food was excellent. We were however underwhelmed with the initial wine choices presented to us (they like to suggest which wine). I also noticed that all the tables around us got to taste the wine but ours was just presented in 2 poured glasses. I also felt there was a bit of an up-sell for the more expensive wines. For 2 people the bill was €135 which was well over what we paid in other resturants (that said the food was very good)

a week agoThe food is excellent. Everything we ordered was delicious. The drinks, on the other hand, were disappointing. My sangria was 75% ice/fruit and 25% sangria, and my husband's beer was 2 sips and gone. I think ordering a bottle of wine would have been the better option. My only other complaint was the server's mention of a tip at the end. We have been in Portugal for 2 weeks, in basic restaurants and some of the most high-end in the Douro Valley, and no one ever mentioned a tip to us before. It really left a bad taste in our mouths, which is too bad, because the food is really good.
