Pizzaria Honorato’s on Av. da República is one of those dependable places in Vila Real de Santo António where everyone at the table can find something they genuinely want to eat. It’s especially handy for mixed groups—when one person is craving pizza, another wants fish, and someone else is in the mood for a hearty meat dish. The menu leans into variety without making it feel chaotic, and portions are known for being generous, making it a smart choice when you want a satisfying meal without overthinking it.
Regulars often point to the restaurant’s consistently tasty cooking and the comfortable setting—ideal for a relaxed lunch or an easy dinner after a day out. While the pizzas are clearly a crowd favorite, many diners recommend branching out into the kitchen’s savory specialties, particularly the grilled seafood and well-prepared meat options. If you’re more of a pasta person, you’ll feel right at home here too: the pasta dishes are frequently mentioned as a pleasant surprise, with that simple, well-executed comfort-food vibe that hits the spot.
Value is another reason people keep it in their rotation. Prices are often described as reasonable, and the service tends to be prompt—great when you’re hungry and don’t want to wait ages for your food. And if you like finishing on a sweet note, it’s worth saving room: desserts are considered a solid finale, rounding out the meal nicely without being fussy.
If you’re exploring Vila Real de Santo António and want a restaurant that can please a group with different tastes—pizza lovers, seafood fans, and pasta devotees alike—Pizzaria Honorato’s is an easy, reliable pick for a well-served, good-value meal.

in the last weekThe waiter treated us with disdain when he saw our little dog on the street terrace. He pointed out that dogs weren't allowed and left without saying goodbye. He was rude and had a bad attitude. I don't recommend going to that place where they treat you like that and don't allow dogs on the terrace.

in the last weekWe sat down on the terrace to eat, we had a small dog with us, they kicked us out because they don't serve dogs outside and when we told them, they wouldn't even look at us... I understand they have their policy, but they could at least be polite and say it respectfully, not with contempt.
