a month agoWe had a lovely private SUP tour on the Rio Formosa with Inês. The three of us, including my nine year old daughter, were complete beginners, and the calm waters of the river were a great place to try stand-up paddle boarding for the first time. Inês was a fantastic instructor — friendly, patient and encouraging, and really good at helping us get the hang of the boards and paddling. We all felt comfortable very quickly and enjoyed being out on the water together. We were especially grateful that she let our daughter hitch a ride on her board when her arms got too tired 1.5 hours into the 2 hour tour. I'm sure it was very hard work for her to pull our daughter's board along behind her! The only reason we’ve given four stars rather than five is that we were expecting a little more from the tour itself. The scenery was quite similar throughout the route, and we had hoped to see a greater variety of landscapes and wildlife. Inês did tell us some interesting things about the local area, but overall it felt more like a SUP lesson with some local information than a guided tour of the Rio Formosa. That said, we really enjoyed the experience and would definitely recommend it to beginners wanting to try SUP in a beautiful, calm setting. Inês was excellent and made the experience particularly enjoyable for us as a family.

2 months agoVery professional company with high quality gear (wetsuit, boards, impact jackets etc). I tried Foil drive for the first time here and loved it. Artur is a great teacher. I'll come back again, for sure. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to do watersports in a beautiful place.
