a year agoIf you’re expecting a luxury poolside experience at the Wet Deck of W Algarve, prepare for disappointment. This is possibly one of the worst places to eat in a so-called luxury hotel. The food is American-style, cheap, greasy, and over-salted, with a menu that feels more like a fast-food truck than a proper restaurant—because, in reality, there isn’t even a real kitchen on site for the Wet Deck Food is either delivered or hastily assembled at a food truck near the entrance, which explains why service is painfully slow; logistics simply don’t allow for anything better The pool area itself is chaotic—a total zoo for kids, making it impossible to relax or enjoy the supposedly “trendy” music that blasts in the background. In short, the Wet Deck at W Algarve is a masterclass in how not to deliver luxury: bad food, slow service, and a pool that feels more like a noisy daycare than a relaxing retreat
