2 months agoLast week we were on holiday in Silves. We discovered this restaurant, quite unassuming from the outside, but simply and comfortably furnished inside – no frills. The menu offered everything from appetizers to meat and fish dishes, and cataplanas. If you can't find something you like here, you're not hungry. I had the octopus with vegetables, and my wife had the tuna steak with salad and vegetables, along with the house wine. The tuna was delicious and grilled to perfection, and the octopus was excellent. We were pleasantly surprised and very satisfied with the food, so much so that we ate there twice more that week, mainly ordering fish dishes – sea bream, sea bass, and squid. We were always delighted with the quality of the food, and the price-performance ratio is perfectly reasonable. That's how you get good food at a good price. This just goes to show that you won't be disappointed where the locals eat. This restaurant is highly recommended.
