Very gluten free friendly. Also, exceptional food both in quantity and quality, and a reasonable price. Come here and enjoy

a week agoA truly wonderful restaurant, that you could easily miss when walking through Carvoeiro but you really shouldn’t. This is our second meal at the restaurant and both have been fantastic. The food is incredibly fresh and piping hot when served. The staff are very attentive and appear genuinely grateful for your visit, even though you always have to book as they are so popular. Will never come to the Algarve in future without booking a meal at A Galé.

2 weeks agoOne of the best restaurants in Carvoeiro with a very friendly and attentive staff. Lots of restaurants offer Clams and Garlic prawns as starters, hands down this restaurant cooks the best in town. I am a huge fan of sauces and the chef at Restaurante A Gale must have taken a master class in making them. The sauce with the clams and prawn starters are simply amazing !!! I consider myself an accomplished home cook and love a peppercorn sauce with steak. Throughout Algarve I have never found one as good as I make, until now, well done Chef, to quote the kids, it was BANGING !! A+++ We have a home near Carvoeiro and are trying as many restaurants as possible. This is one that we will return to time after time.
