Praia de Odeceixe

From the clifftop miradouro above Praia de Odeceixe, the landscape does something almost too neat to be natural: the Seixe river slides out of its green valley, meets the beach, and curls around the sand in one long bright spiral before finding the sea. It’s one of the great coastal views in Portugal — not just the Algarve — and it belongs to the region’s far northwest corner, where the river marks the border with the Alentejo and the coast is pure Costa Vicentina.
