9 months agoHelder Saldago's entry is correct; the tapas bar is no longer there. Now there's a restaurant that exclusively serves grilled chicken. They offer either bone-in or bone-in chicken pieces. The menu also listed a mixed grill platter, but I didn't see it. There's a fixed price per person for chicken pieces with French fries, salad, a small plate of pickled peppers, a small bowl of olives, and a slice of bread. A drink is also included: water, beer, wine, or a soft drink. Desserts and coffee cost extra. The restaurant is hectic. It's loud and a bit chaotic, and the tables are packed tightly together. As far as I could see, seating is only available outside, but it is covered. Some tables are next to cardboard boxes in dark corners, while others are removable, with a view across the street to the river. The service was somewhat chaotic, and everything took a little longer than expected. We had to order extra cutlery, get our own vinegar and oil, and find our own ketchup and mayonnaise. However, the staff were friendly and helpful. They did their best to accommodate the numerous requests from the guests, as it was incredibly busy. The meat was of good quality, although some pieces weren't quite cooked through. The fries were very good. You had to dress the salad yourself. The bread was stale. All in all, it was more of a snack bar than a restaurant. In the end, we paid a total of €23 for two people, which was an unbeatable price for the quality offered, especially considering the touristy location. The price might also explain why this snack bar/restaurant was completely packed with tourists on a Wednesday at lunchtime. We got a table right away by chance; most people had to wait in a long line for several minutes. You paid in cash or by credit card at a central counter by stating your table number. The only restrooms were around the corner in the market hall.
