Amore Mio Faro is a warm, welcoming Italian restaurant in Faro that feels made for easy evenings—good food, generous portions, and service that keeps everything relaxed. Set close to the marina at Praça Ferreira de Almeida, it’s an ideal choice when you want that European, Italy-style vibe without the fuss.
This is the kind of place people happily return to during the same trip, and it’s easy to see why. The menu leans into familiar favorites done well, starting with standout starters like the mozzarella garlic bread—rich, melty, and seriously moreish. It’s also a comfortable pick for mixed groups, thanks to solid vegetarian options that don’t feel like an afterthought.
Pizza is a major draw here, especially if you’re hunting for a reliable, satisfying slice in the city. The base, toppings, and balance hit the mark, and many diners call it their top choice in town. If you’re coming hungry, you’ll appreciate that portions are hearty while still feeling well-priced for an Italian meal in a central location.
Service is a real strength. The team is attentive, friendly, and great with visitors—comfortable in English and Portuguese and genuinely tuned in to the table. It’s the little things that stand out: remembering what you ordered before, checking in at the right moments, and helping the meal flow smoothly without hovering.
Whether you’re planning a relaxed dinner after a day of exploring, or you want a dependable spot to return to for another round of pizza and Italian classics, Amore Mio delivers an inviting experience in the heart of Faro.

2 weeks agoThe worst restaurant I ate at during my stay. The pizza seemed to have been frozen and the pasta was inedible. Avoid it.

a month agoThe food was absolutely delicious! The prices were very fair. Unfortunately, the staff seemed a bit sleepy and not particularly interested in their guests. The ambiance is quite nice, but it's showing its age a little. Still, I'd recommend it if you're looking for a good meal!
