Alsafari Tours is a top pick for travelers who want more than the typical beach-day itinerary in Albufeira. If your idea of a great day includes scenic backroads, authentic local culture, and the kind of viewpoints you’d never find on your own, this is the sort of experience that stays with you long after the trip ends. Guests often describe the outing as exciting and genuinely informative, with a guide who blends local history, regional culture, and a bit of humor to keep the day moving at a great pace.
What really sets this tour agency apart is how it brings you into the “inner Algarve”—think small rural villages, quiet corners of the countryside, and hidden gems tucked away from the busy coastal strips. The route is built for discovery: sweeping landscapes, surprising stops, and those little moments that make Portugal feel personal rather than postcard-perfect. Many visitors say that when they look back on their Algarve holiday, this tour is the first thing that comes to mind—especially for the variety of scenery and the feeling that you’re seeing places you wouldn’t otherwise reach.
It’s also a fantastic option for mixed groups and international travelers. Tours can include guests from different backgrounds, and the guiding style is described as clear, engaging, and inclusive, so everyone feels part of the experience. For food lovers, the day is often topped off with an included lunch at a spot known for a spectacular view—exactly the kind of relaxed mid-day break that turns a busy excursion into a full-day memory.
If you’re hoping for breathtaking scenery, meaningful context about what you’re seeing, and an easy way to explore beyond the coastline, book a full-day Algarve tour with Alsafari Tours. It’s an ideal choice for couples, friends, and families who want a well-run day out that balances comfort with real adventure—and finishes with an unforgettable sunset from high above the landscape.

in the last weekIt's a shame the jeep wasn't completely open, so we couldn't see outside very well. We were also really cramped. The stops were nice, but sometimes a bit rushed and moving on quickly. All in all, a fine excursion to explore some of the surrounding area.

a week agoFab experience seeing parts of the Algarve away from tourist centre. Alvaro our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Highlights were tasting local honey and liquor, a dip in a beautiful remote pool, coffee in Alte and going fast off road!

a week agoWe loved the outing; our guide Georges did a fantastic job translating into French for us. The explanations, tastings, and visits were all interesting. If you wish, you can swim in the natural pool at Alte and at the waterfall, but this stop is very brief. I highly recommend this half-day trip! 👍
