If you like your meals served with birdsong, greenery, and a sense of calm, A Quinta Garden Café is one of Silves’ most rewarding finds. Set a little outside the typical tourist flow, it’s the sort of place many people only discover with a car or a bit of local guidance—and that’s part of what makes it feel special. Once you arrive, you’ll find a beautiful space lush with gardens, a relaxed restaurant setting, and an atmosphere that invites you to stay awhile.
The vibe is unmistakably restorative: outdoor seating, good energy, and evenings often lifted by live music. It works brilliantly for singles, couples, and groups looking for an unhurried weekend meal where conversation and ambience matter as much as what’s on the plate. The team is frequently praised for being genuinely lovely, adding to the sense that you’re being hosted rather than simply served.
Food-wise, the café keeps things fresh and satisfying, with a revamped menu that consistently earns compliments. One of the biggest draws is the simple, delicious cooking—often featuring produce grown right there in the garden. Expect wholesome flavours, thoughtful preparation, and options that suit different dietary needs, including gluten-free choices that don’t feel like an afterthought.
Whether you’re visiting for a relaxed lunch, an easygoing dinner, or an evening of music and good company, A Quinta Garden Café offers a memorable side of Silves—green, welcoming, and made for slowing down.

2 years agoI normally wouldn’t review place that were closed but this one was showing on google as open and as well signage from road to off-roading where still there, with little care they could just add temporary signage that they have closed, if u in the middle of nowhere just update google it doesn’t take much…making people drive up not even gravel road to see place abandoned. Disappointing

2 years agopretty garden in the middle of nowhere with very nice vibe - live music and very cool atmosphere , really perfect place for a drink to relax. Food is ok, but not what you would expect in Portugal (more like British style food , burgers, chilli con carne, chicken teriyaki…) - personally I didn’t figure that out from the reviews so probably nice to mention it for future customers . I would definetely come back for a drink and enjoy the afternoon , but likely not for a meal :)
