Algarve FlashBack Holidays (tickets & tours) makes exploring Albufeira and the wider region feel simple, friendly, and well-paced. Based at Hotel Paraíso, this tour agency is a smart choice if you want more than just transport—you want a host who brings the day to life with local context, good stops, and the kind of small touches that make a trip feel looked-after.
One experience that keeps people talking is the wine-focused day out. Travelers love that it runs smoothly even in quieter months, with hotel collection that takes the hassle out of planning. Along the way, guides share insights about the Algarve’s towns, routes, and everyday life in Portugal—so the drive becomes part of the experience, not dead time between stops. Expect plenty of opportunities for photos, a relaxed pace, and that reassuring feeling that your guide is both professional and genuinely keen for you to enjoy the day.
Food and drink are a big part of the appeal. Guests often highlight the satisfying lunch stop—especially the piri-piri chicken—and the winery visit, where tastings are explained clearly and confidently. It’s the kind of tour that works whether you’re a casual sipper or a true enthusiast: you’ll sample several wines, learn what you’re tasting, and still have time to soak up the atmosphere (and maybe take a bottle or two home).
Back in town, the experience can include a quick look around Albufeira’s old town charm, plus a few classic Portuguese treats. If your ideal holiday day includes wine tasting tours, local stories, and an itinerary that feels easy from start to finish, Algarve FlashBack Holidays is an excellent place to book.

2 months agoWine lovers tour: The tour began with us being collected at our hotel. Despite it being the off-season and only my wife and I being present, the tour proceeded as scheduled. Our guide was very friendly and took some photos of us. They were also very knowledgeable about our route and the different places in the Algarve. The piri-piri chicken was delicious and a good portion. The wine tasting was enjoyable, and we tasted several wines. It was a very enjoyable day for both of us.

1 year agoDid the wine tasting tour in late January. Our guide Rosty was amazing, gave us a quick tour on the way to the winery, then took us around the old town of Albufeira and for shots and pastel de nata at their office. He was very polite, professional and knowledgeable, answered a lot of questions we had about the region and life in Portugal. The wine tasting was also superb, the owner gave us detailed explanations of everything and we left taking some bottles of wine home because they were so good. Highly recommended.

2 years agoHonestly, The best service I have received in a long time. All the staff, especially Cody, were so accommodating. We took the winery tour with wine tasting and tapas experience, and that was brilliant. Highly recommend it. Quinta, do canhato Vineyard was exceptional. MUST DO!!! Due to the initial service, we now book our experiences and tours through them now. Thankyou Cody.

1 year agoWent on the wine tasting and tapas tour. Our guide, Rosty, was friendly, funny and full of really interesting information of the local area. The journey to the winery was really interesting. The tour of the winery was really interesting, especially finding out about the sustainability aspect. The wines were stunning and we even took a couple of bottles back to the hotel to enjoy later in the night! The firewater was intense but the almond shot was a delightful settler, coupled with a warm, cinnamon topped pastel de nata, it was the perfect end to the trip!
