in the last weekIt was me and my boyfriends first holiday together and we stumbled upon this gem next to our hotel. As soon as we came in the lovely waiter sat us down and remembered us by name. The food was an absolute delight the momo was juicy and flavourful and not to mention the nasi goreng so flavourful and the perfect spice. It was so good that we had to come back for lunch the following day and to our surprise the waiter remembered us and this time we got the ramen and yaki soba and boy it was delicious (not to forget we did get more momo haha) this has to be the best restaurant I’ve been to and I’ll forever recommend this place for anyone that’s near new town. Not to mention the interior design was so cute with all the anime fingurines. 10/10 restaurant u must try!!

in the last weekIf you have nothing to compare it to, you might actually enjoy this place. For everyone else, though, I strongly recommend giving it a pass. Behind the relatively attractive presentation, it may not be immediately obvious that the kitchen either doesn’t try very hard or simply doesn’t know how to cook. Of course, I can’t say that for certain, but I was left with the impression that this restaurant cuts corners on absolutely everything-especially the quality of its ingredients. Everything looks great in photos, but the taste… felt like the ingredients were ordered from Temu. The shrimp gyoza tasted nothing like shrimp. In fact, it was hard to tell what the filling was supposed to be. The rest of the dishes weren’t much better-technically edible, but that’s about the nicest thing I can say. We came at lunchtime, and besides us, there was only one other occupied table. The staff greeted us warmly, but somehow still managed to get our small order wrong. What made it even more surprising was that the waiter had come back specifically to double-check that particular item… and still got it wrong. The interior feels badly outdated and oddly put together. Anime wallpaper, Chinese lanterns-it’s as if they threw in every stereotypical “Asian” decoration they could think of. Some of the design elements feel like they were left over from the early 2000s. As for the prices, I’m always happy to pay for genuinely good food. But what they’re serving here is nowhere near worth what they’re charging. It only reinforces the impression that they’re not interested in building a loyal customer base-they’re simply trying to make as much as they can from unsuspecting tourists who happen to wander in.
