No smoking – Inside the house it is not permitted to smoke. It is permitted in the garden.
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed.

Do I need a car?
Casa da Vida Doce is perfect for families and couples who want to enjoy peace and nature – and still be quickly at the beach ️, in town ️, at the supermarket or in a restaurant ️.
A rental car is highly recommended, as all destinations can be reached in about 5–10 minutes by car.
Alternatively, Uber is also an option:
A ride to Carvoeiro or the nearest supermarket usually costs only €7–€10.

Guest access
You can park your rental car right in front of the gate. There is enough space for two cars comfortably.
Access to the house is through the front door. The key can be found in the key safe right next to the door.
Within one day after your arrival, you will be welcomed by Sonia, a Portuguese local who will also be available during your stay to help resolve any issues that may arise.
Other things to note
1️⃣ CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT
Check-in is normally possible from 4:00 PM on the day of arrival.
If you would like to check in earlier, please discuss this with us in advance and ideally as early as possible.
Please contact Sonia about 1 hour before your arrival (e.g. just before you leave Faro Airport).
You will receive Sonia’s phone number from us in good time before your stay.
On your departure day, check-out should be done by 10:00 AM.
Some flexibility is possible here as well — upon prior agreement.
2️⃣ SMOKING INSIDE THE HOUSE IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN
Smoking inside the holiday home is strictly prohibited.
This rule exists out of respect for future guests and to maintain a pleasant indoor atmosphere.
❗In case of violation, we reserve the right to charge the guest for all additional cleaning and professional odor removal costs.

3️⃣ RENTAL CAR / TAXI / UBER
Casa da Vida Doce is located in a quiet area – close to beaches (5 minutes by car), supermarkets, and the lively town of Carvoeiro with all its amenities.
However, that also means you’ll either need to rent a car or use taxi / ride-hailing services like Uber.
Uber is widely used here and usually very quick.
4️⃣ WELCOME PACKAGE
We provide a small welcome package upon your arrival,
so you don’t need to head straight to the supermarket.
5️⃣ TOURIST TAX
The legally required tourist tax per guest and per night is already included in the rental price.
To register all guests, we will kindly ask you to provide some information about the travelers after booking.
This registration is a legal requirement we must comply with.
