Casa Laranjeira, orange tree house is a beautiful and comfortable contemporary house in the heart of the old town, placed in a quiet street on the edge of the city center by the Great Wall that once protected the realm.
the sun invades the house all day long, where you can comfortably enjoy the indoor area with a great view of the ancient walls, the blue sky and the green gardens, or the sunny outdoor while refreshing yourself in our salty pool thought to nourish your skin.

The space
Casa Laranjeira is a charming and beautiful house, very well located in a quiet street by the great walls of the city. Traditionally white yet of a contemporary architecture, blue sky colored doors, it has a garage on the ground floor where you will have a parking place for your car.
Casa Laranjeira is one of 3 houses in the building, number 47A, the first one on the left. the door has a code lock to make check in easy and comfortable, so you can come whenever you want, straight from the airport or after visiting great spots on the way to Lagos. we can meet at arrival or if you prefer you can check yourselves in.
while entering the property you will have a place to leave your keys and your shoes, hang your coat or leave your bag, up the stairs on the 1st floor, you will find the living room looking outside to the swimming pool area with gardens and the Ancient Wall of the old city as your background.
you will have sunbeds to enjoy and relax in the sun by the pool as well as a table and chairs for a sunny breakfast or a late glass of wine by the pool.
the swimming pool is private, so all yours and available all year long, it is a salt water pool, no chlorine use, which is much better for your skin and health and it is heated so you can use it warm in the winter and mid seasons and have it fresh for the summer days.
to warm up the pool we charge an extra fee of 120/150€ (according to the season and the outside temperature) that should be paid before check out. please let us know in advance if you want the pool to be heated, it takes up to 8 hours or 10h to have it heated in spring and summer and much longer in the winter.
on this 1st floor you will also find a spacious and comfortable living room and a dinning area with a round marble table where you can have your meals while looking to the sunny terrace outside, and the kitchen just next to it. this is a very convenient configuration which makes cooking and eating much nicer and easier.
on the 1st floor you will also find a discrete toilet and a sink, behind the door that can be mistaken by a kitchen cupboard.
on the 2nd floor, up the stairs you will find a master bedroom with a large bed and a double closet. this bedroom also has a charming little terrace with a beautiful view to the swimming pool and gardens.
the twin bedroom with 2 single beds also has a very nice and large balcony with a great view to the old town.
the bathroom is also on the 2nd floor, it is a spacious nice place with a white marble shower and a large mirror.
on the rooftop you will find a huge sunny terrace with a 360º view to the old town, the ocean and an infinite blue sky, where you can enjoy the sun on the sun loungers provided for this purpose, as well as a shading pergola, typical of the southern Portugal.
the pool can be heated up to 26/28ºC depending on the weather and the outside temperature.

the house is all yours during your stay.
