About us:
Moinho do Pedro is an old mill estate / finca from the 17th century on a hill with 360° distant views to the coast. The 4 restored buildings are located on different levels, as in a small village.
The studio apartment has an en-suite bathroom, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, well-equipped kitchen, dining & living room with fireplace.
Lobby, bar, pool, library, BBQ area & garden are available to all guests.
The space
The property is situated on a hill with 360° views over surrounding plantations to the sea.
The guest wings are embedded in the old-growth garden and have been restored by a designer with attention to detail.
All accommodations are equipped for self-catering.
On request, we serve our rich wellness breakfast (€10 per person) – bookable on site if necessary.
We offer a laundry and ironing service for our guests. For €10 per load.
Good local and international restaurants can be found in our small village of Algoz (2 min.), directly on the beach with a dream view and super-fresh fish or you can have a nice evening on your terrace in front of the house or at the BBQ area and use your own kitchen. Our large BBQ area invites you to barbecue with a distant view and sunset.
A green market takes place daily from 7 am – 1 pm in Algoz.
Guest access
Sun loungers and pool towels are available by the pool.
Several daybeds and hammocks in shady places are distributed in the garden on the property and offer plenty of retreat options.
In the mill library you will find a large selection of literature and board games.
The wooden deck invites you to do yoga. We provide some yoga mats.
In the large mill lobby there is a well-stocked bar with fresh beer and drinks, which is available to our guests for self-service 24 hours a day as an “honors bar”.
Other things to note
Car hire is recommended!
No public transportation.
No signs.
