Because yes, it was delicious, but also drowned out by an avalanche of barbecue sauce that seemed determined to steal the show. An excess that, far from complementing the meat, overpowered its flavor, like a supporting actor intent on stealing the scene. The most revealing detail came before the first bite: no one asked how it was cooked. An unforgivable oversight in any burger haven that aspires to more than mere culinary survival. The diner is thus left at the mercy of chance, hoping the grill was having a good day. The house sauce, a kind of mayonnaise with pretensions, was adequate but unremarkable. The problem wasn't the sauce itself, but its omnipresence: it appeared on everything, as if the chef had decided that the dish's personality depended solely on his ladle. The result? The burgers are acceptable, yes, but far—very far—from competing in a hypothetical Champions Burgers competition. They lack intention, precision, and, above all, respect for the product.
