in the last weekWe went here as a party of 6. The owners son was delightful, immediately introduced himself and explained the different style of dishes. He prepared dinner specifically to our taste and meats. We sat outside which was pleasant except for the intermittent dogs barking but that was not the problem. The issue is that their card reader was down and they would only accept cash ( which we didn’t have) Portuguese bank transfer or bank wire. Not many tourist have a Portuguese bank account nor were we willing to do an international bank transfer for $160. The owner said he would drive us to an ATM for cash. This was on a sketchy part of town and charged an $31 fee for $200 withdrawal. Absolutely ridiculous!! We should have be told at the onset that the card reader was down and been able to decide whether or not to stay. Truly makes you wonder if this goes on all the time. It’s a trap.

They ask in detail which flavors are allowed and which aren't, how spicy (offering a reference taste), and are very considerate of the children. Truly top-notch, definitely worth a visit!!! Compliments to the restaurant and the service.
