Right on the square, Café Conchinha brings a polished, welcoming experience to Sagres—the kind of place where the atmosphere feels thoughtfully put together and the service makes you want to linger. It’s often described as a memorable night out, with a team that’s attentive, upbeat, and genuinely invested in making your meal feel special from the moment you sit down.
This is a family-run restaurant with a personal touch, and that care comes through in both the dining room and the food. Seafood is the star here, and if you’re deciding what to order, the paella is the signature move—praised for being deeply flavorful and loaded with fresh fish and shellfish. It’s the sort of dish that turns dinner into an occasion, especially if you’re sharing with friends or family at the table.
Beyond paella, the menu shines with creative seafood comfort dishes. The seafood lasagna is frequently singled out as one of the best people have had—rich, satisfying, and packed with ocean flavor without feeling heavy. Fried shrimp is another crowd-pleaser, crisp and moreish, and ideal as a starter alongside a drink before you settle into your mains.
Service is a major reason this place stands out. Guests often mention how warm and professional the hosts are, offering thoughtful recommendations and maintaining a relaxed but attentive rhythm throughout the meal. Even if you arrive later in the evening, you’re still made to feel truly welcome—no rushing, no awkwardness, just hospitality done right.
If you’re looking for a seafood restaurant with a refined feel—great for date night, a celebratory dinner, or simply treating yourself while in town—Café Conchinha is an easy pick. Come for the beautiful setting, stay for the big flavors, and leave knowing you’ve found one of the square’s most rewarding tables.

in the last weekThe service was excellent and very friendly. It's very good but unhurried. The food was excellent and typical of the region. We ordered potatoes with vegetables on top as an appetizer (I don't remember the name) and for our main course, a Cataplana for two people (which could easily feed three): DELICIOUS! The fish and seafood were very fresh and had a wonderful flavor, as did the broth. To drink, we had two lemonades, a Coke, and for dessert, a lemon ice cream and coffee. I would definitely return.

a week agoVery good. Seafood rice for two €35, perfect in flavor and preparation. The service is excellent; they are very friendly and helpful. "Socarrat" in Valencian and "socarrado" in Spanish—I'm sure they'll use that term with their customers.

a week agoI had dinner at this restaurant on July 15, 2026. I had a steak with mushroom sauce and it was delicious. My father and brother had fried calamari and they thought it was wonderful, and my mother had grilled sea bream and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was fantastic, I highly recommend it.

a week agoClams with garlic and coriander as starter and tuna steak (rare-medium rare) where impressing lay good. Very good white wine. Kids burger top (they even added Salat, tomato, cheese and onions on Request). Strongly recommended. Not to forget: very reasonable prices and very nice people
