in the last weekA poor experience. We arrived at 9:30 PM for dinner. We asked a young, blond employee with a French accent if it was possible to have dinner. Without really checking, he told us that the kitchen had just served the last dishes and that it wasn't possible. We pointed out that Google indicated a closing time of 11:00 PM. He claimed that this was the closing time for the entire establishment... Just then, a very friendly Portuguese employee arrived; she told us a table was available and invited us to follow her... This young man is really letting the establishment down. The service provided by this employee and another wonderful young Portuguese woman was excellent. To top it all off, when we asked another employee for the bill, we discovered that they had charged us several "deposit" fees of €0.10 each. He claimed it was a new policy they were required to implement—which is false, as this has never happened to us at any other restaurant; this type of charge is normally covered by the establishment. Be wary of this place; it's also very expensive.

in the last weekProbably the best meal I've ever had in the Algarve, and possibly the world, (I've eaten at the Burj Al Arab) so this restaurant is in good company. Food and staff the best, attention to detail off the scale, book in advance, you will not be disappointed

a week ago2nd visit to Restaurant Thyme, I enjoy the atmosphere, the warm reception from everyone, and of course the food is wonderful, I had duck on my 1st visit, and had steak this time, both left you using your finger to get every last morsel from the plate (obviously when nobody is looking ) Coming back? You bet!!!
