Authentic Thai Flavors & Sunset Vibes in Vilamoura

Thai Beach Club in Vilamoura is where you go when you want dinner to feel like an occasion—great food, welcoming energy, and a terrace view that’s hard to beat. Tucked a little away from the marina bustle, it rewards the short walk with a more spacious, relaxed layout where tables don’t feel cramped and the atmosphere is designed for lingering.

The kitchen focuses on authentic Thai cuisine with bold, well-balanced flavors. If you’re deciding what to order, the red curry is a standout favorite—rich, aromatic, and the kind of dish you remember later. For groups, starting with a shared platter is a smart move: it brings a variety of nibbles to the table so everyone can try a bit of everything before choosing mains. It’s an easy way to turn a meal into a shared experience, especially if you’re celebrating or simply want a fun, sociable dinner.

Service is a major part of what makes Thai Beach Club feel premium without being pretentious. The team is known for being extremely friendly, efficient, and attentive, keeping things running smoothly even when the restaurant gets busy. And it does get busy—this is a popular pick for parties and special nights, with background music that builds the mood and, at times, live entertainment like a saxophonist that gives the evening an extra lift.

If you prefer a quieter setting, lunchtime is a great option to enjoy the terrace, take in the spectacular view, and savor the food at a calmer pace. For evenings—especially weekends or larger groups—planning ahead is wise. However you time it, Thai Beach Club is one of those Vilamoura restaurants that combines Thai restaurant quality with a true holiday backdrop, making it a go-to for everything from date nights to birthday bashes.

We had a really nice meal with quick, friendly and attentive service. The shrimp roll was good — crispy on the outside and the shrimp was perfectly cooked. The beef empanada was really nice, with a good dough and tasty filling. I personally think it needed a different sauce to make it even better. I was also wondering, though — is this really a Thai dish? The prawn taco was delicious, with a little bit of spice and a very good sauce. Definitely one of the highlights. The chicken Pad Thai was okay. There was plenty of chicken, but I felt the vegetables were missing. I’ve had better and more authentic Pad Thai elsewhere. The spicy fried seabass with fried rice was the highlight of the meal for me. It was beautifully crispy, nicely seasoned and not too spicy. Just delicious! Overall, a very enjoyable meal with quick, nice and efficient service. A few dishes stood out more than others, but the fried seabass was definitely worth coming back for.

Awful awful awful place avoid like the plague if you are just down to earth people wanting a fun night out. Decided to go here for my hen do We prepaid £40 per person for the food and when we arrived we were sat at a table waited 45mins - 1 hr for our drinks order only ended up getting 2 rounds of drinks as they were taking so long between orders. We ate our food and found the atmosphere was falling flat the place is so pretentious so we decided to move on and asked for our bill. Our bill was a whopping £1000 upon inspection we realised they were trying to charge us for the food even though we had already paid for this via the £40pp payment we prepaid we raised this with the manager (who I can only describe as a salt bae wanna be) who then became very hostile insisting we pay what was owed on the bill when we showed him proof of pre payment he got very angry and said well ‘how was I supposed to know’… maybe the fact he worked there and was the manager meant he was supposed to know. They also added on a 50 euro service charge and just brought us 2 bottles of water to the table we didn’t ask for which they then charged us 27 euro each for. Absolutely awful place could be ran so much better than what it is the scenery is gorgeous but bad service and poncey atmosphere ruins it all. Won’t be returning and will encourage everyone not to go.

We got the Thai set menu and we basically chose what we wanted to eat, for the massaman beef curry and pad Thai. Both were flavourful and good, we also got the appetizer bites which were all really good too. I wish there was a dj or something to make better atmosphere, we booked it for sunset and was beautiful setting.
