in the last weekThis is my second visit and I'm just as satisfied as before! The dishes are truly delicious, the portions are generous, and everything is beautifully presented. The sangria is excellent, the service is quick, and the staff is very friendly. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back!

a week agoI went here for dinner with my family; we had ordered garlic bread as a starter. The menu indicated that gluten-free bread was available. I have celiac disease, so that is why I ordered gluten-free garlic bread. After waiting for a while, the non-gluten-free bread for my family arrived first. When they had already finished that, the bread for me arrived. I ate this bread and then had a main course. I had ordered steak skewers. They had omitted the sauce to make it gluten-free. After dinner, we were going to watch the World Cup final in Albufeira. Unfortunately, I had to miss it because the bread I ate was not gluten-free. I vomited all evening and became extremely sick from it. I find it scandalous that they indicate on their door that they serve gluten-free food and then make such a huge mistake. Therefore, I strongly advise against eating here if you have celiac disease.

a week agoAte here recently, was a Friday in July and didn't book. Managed to get a table fine about 8pm although it was busy so might be best to book just in case as it was busy. Kids shared a mussels starter (pictured) which they said was good. Also went for fillet steak and wife and I had beef skewers and the fish special bailote (also pictured). All very good. Also went for rose sangria which I've not had before (sticking to red usually and white when feeling adventurous). However will definitely be having it again. I finished with the fig pie/ tart which was fantastic. Friendly staff and great location in the busy old town.
