Jasmin has a vivid artistic touch with unique decorations and designed furniture. This is a perfect solution for anyone who seeks for a beautiful place, with a completely amazing garden and just 10 mins from Olhao. The garden is huge and it resembles rather a park with its mature vegetation. We have our own orchard that you are free to discover and profit from its delicious, seasonal fruits. The space
Our whole quinta is an old, traditional property. It is not a modern, plastic house, so please make sure you understand what you are renting. It’s a rustic and very charming place and needs a loving approach. Our walls are not straight, the insulation is not like in condos and one must make effort to use the gas heater/ NOT dangerous ;-)/ and dehumidifier in winter. You need to have a bit of a scout attitude, but then the place will resonate with you fully.
We were offered a professional photoshooting for this cottage by airbnb. We keep the pro photos as well as or own ones, since the light can be different on different days. This is why you will see the same rooms pictured with different light and a different equipment, of course.
There is one bedroom with a 1.60m bed and a living room with a 1.40m pull-out sofa bed. If you will come with a baby, then the baby cot will be placed in the living room. There will be no place for the baby cot if we will open the sofa bed. It cannot fit the bedroom with a queen bed either. The small, but well equipped kitchen is a separately standing building right next to Jasmin /on its left side/. You need to go out from the bedroom to reach it, but it’s just 3 steps away. The kitchen has persian doors so in winter it will be a bit cool, but we do have a free standing heater to put there. The pool is not heated and shared with other units on the property / there are 4 cottages and the main house/

Please note that the pool is not heated and that it is in front of the main house (also listed here). The cottages are on the right side. The pool and garden are shared spaces with the guests from the cottages (Jasmin, Honeysuckle, Pepper Tree, Loft) and with the main house. You can relax on many chairs, loungers, swings throughout the garden.
This cottage is close to Olhao with its special atmosphere and a market selling fresh fish, vegetables, and fruit. There are many beaches close by. Faro is a cultural center that is just a 25-minute drive away. Our village, Quelfes, is a typical, Portuguese village with narrow, dirt roads and charming fields. Everyone around is used to that.

A car rental is recommended, but you can also easily travel with uber.
We have quite many fruit trees and an orange orchard that you are free to discover and profit from its delicious fruits. The oranges are on the vast field backing the swimming pool /behind 2 wooden gates/.
In winter season you will have the hotspot gas heating to keep you warm.

Other things to note
Please be aware of the fact that:
– our property is called CASA STARDUST.
– we have cats on our property /allergics/.
– the swimming pool is not heated and is in front of the main house and not in front of the cottages.
– there are 4 cottages and the main house on the property, therefore the garden and the pool are shared. Each cotttage has its private space belonging to it.
– the pool is not heated.
– our internet is starlink

We also have a private 2-room apartment on our own property near Fuseta/ check our page/
– according to the new law from june 2023 we are obliged to collect a tourist tax of 1€/person/night in the low season /November-March/and 2€/person in high season /April-October/. It will be collected upon your arrival.
