The result is the kind of tour where you’re not just being moved from point A to point B; you’re actually learning what you’re looking at, and you leave feeling like you understand Tavira a bit better.

The service is also frequently described as great, and that matters with water-based activities. Clear communication, a smooth process, and a calm, professional approach go a long way when you’re coordinating timing, meeting points, and what to bring. Today we had a fantastic tour towards Cacela Velha, right through the Ria Formosa, visiting spots where no one else is allowed to go. The silence and nature were wonderful, and we also saw many flamingos. We had a stop halfway to enjoy a drink and use the restroom. The guide, Bruna, is super enthusiastic and knows a lot about the area.

We took the Tavira boat tour, visiting the fishing villages of Santa Luzia and Cabanas. The tour was in English, and our guide, Bruna, was very friendly and charming, explaining many things to us along the way. We loved this tour; the scenery was wonderful, and we saw different types of birds. It was truly marvelous.

We did the evening tour with Joao; it was a very beautiful experience, mainly thanks to him. Joao is a very enthusiastic storyteller with extensive knowledge of history, nature, and the animals around us. We thoroughly enjoyed our boat trip, and it was certainly worth the money.
