2 min walking to the beach, this completely renovated and beautiful ocean view apartment is guaranteed to leave you refreshed, relaxed and recharged! Here, life is easy and just what you want from a vacation. Although just a stone’s throw from the beach, the apartment is quietly located away from the hustle and bustle of the promenade. You’re invited to enjoy lazy days at the beach, stroll along the promenade or why not stay in and take in the ocean from the large windows or the balcony?
The space
Living room
The tastefully decorated living room is “open plan” and spacious. The table set by the window makes the most of the spectacular view and having breakfast with the windows open is a must. The room has a large, comfortable sofa bed (very easy to convert) which sleeps two. The SmartTV has 100+ channels, both Portuguese and international, NETFLIX (requires an account) and Wi-Fi is fast. The air conditioning keeps the apartment comfortably cool in the summer and cozy warm in the winter. From the living room you also have access to the balcony. Baby chair is available upon request.
Kitchen
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could want and need. The oven is a combined microwave and the dishwasher makes sure you do nothing but relax during your stay. The nice plates, glasses and cutlery give any meal that extra touch. A top of the line capsule coffee machine makes sure your “morning cup” is just a moment away. Essentials such as salt, pepper, olive oil and dishwasher tablets are provided.
Bedroom
The bedroom is a calm and relaxing space which sleeps two, the individual beds can be separated. A crib is available upon request. The spacious drawers have room for everything you brought along for your holiday. Strategically placed air conditioning, away from the beds, makes sure you sleep comfortably regardless of season. The large glass door leading to the balcony invites you to start your day right, stepping out and taking in the fresh morning breeze.
Bathroom
The bathroom has a combined rainfall shower, perfect for washing off the salt water after a day at the beach. Don’t worry about over-packing, you can always put a quick load of clothes in the washing machine if needed. Drying rack and iron are of course available.
Balcony
The roomy balcony with its fantastic ocean view is one of the best parts of staying here. In the morning and evening the swallows circle right outside the balcony and at sunset the sky turns into a spectacular colour show before the stars and fishing boats come out. If you’re like us, you’ll spend as much time out on the balcony as possible and the table set is perfect for all meals, reading a book or perhaps playing cards with a glass of sangria.
Wardrobe
A space located between the rooms has a wardrobe for clothes, suitcases etc. Here you’ll also find beach rackets, an umbrella, an iron, drying rack and other things you might find useful during your stay.
Parking
The one way street outside the building is lined with free parking spaces on both sides.
Guest access
The whole flat and common building areas.
Other things to note
The apartment is located on the 6th floor and the building has two elevators. During office hours our lovely building manager, Vera, will be happy to help you if you ever need something.
COVID19 – we are taking extra care to disinfect our space by following recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). We also provide masks and hand sanitizer.
