Alsafari Tours is a top pick for travelers who want more than the typical beach-day itinerary in Albufeira. If your idea of a great day includes scenic backroads, authentic local culture, and the kind of viewpoints you’d never find on your own, this is the sort of experience that stays with you long after the trip ends. Guests often describe the outing as exciting and genuinely informative, with a guide who blends local history, regional culture, and a bit of humor to keep the day moving at a great pace.
What really sets this tour agency apart is how it brings you into the “inner Algarve”—think small rural villages, quiet corners of the countryside, and hidden gems tucked away from the busy coastal strips. The route is built for discovery: sweeping landscapes, surprising stops, and those little moments that make Portugal feel personal rather than postcard-perfect. Many visitors say that when they look back on their Algarve holiday, this tour is the first thing that comes to mind—especially for the variety of scenery and the feeling that you’re seeing places you wouldn’t otherwise reach.
It’s also a fantastic option for mixed groups and international travelers. Tours can include guests from different backgrounds, and the guiding style is described as clear, engaging, and inclusive, so everyone feels part of the experience. For food lovers, the day is often topped off with an included lunch at a spot known for a spectacular view—exactly the kind of relaxed mid-day break that turns a busy excursion into a full-day memory.
If you’re hoping for breathtaking scenery, meaningful context about what you’re seeing, and an easy way to explore beyond the coastline, book a full-day Algarve tour with Alsafari Tours. It’s an ideal choice for couples, friends, and families who want a well-run day out that balances comfort with real adventure—and finishes with an unforgettable sunset from high above the landscape.

5 months agoFred gave us an exciting and informative tour around areas of Portugal we would not otherwise have seen. Bits of history, culture and humor. We had both French and English guests on our tour and Fred kept us all informed and interested. Amazing lunch included at a restraining with a spectacular view. Highly recommend the full day tour!

6 months agoThis trip was awesome! Saw some really gorgeous views from some amazing places, the tour guide was funny, kind and very knowledgeable, it’s a hotel pick up and drop off and lunch if you want, lunch was ok, could have been better in my opinion, the chicken was fried bits of bone with hardly any meat, but overall this was a truly awesome trip!

7 months agoWe spent one week in Algarve, we saw beautiful landscapes, seasides, but when looking back at that vacation, this tour is the very first thing that comes in our mind. 100% recommended if you really want to feel inner Algarve, made of small, rural villages, lots of hidden gems and one of the most incredible sunsets ever seen from the top of a mountain. We also had the luck to have Jorge as our guide, simply wonderful.
