The space

The villa’s three levels of living space make the most of its stunning location—and open to outdoor areas where you can soak in the sun. A sparkling pool, loungers, barbecue and al-fresco dining for eight let you entertain or relax from dawn to dusk. After dark, watch the stars come out or step inside to enjoy the satellite TV and Wi-Fi.

Vila Mar Azul has one open-plan living area on its main floor, with living and dining areas and a fully equipped kitchen, and a second on its lower level, complete with a second kitchen. A fireplace and plush area rug create a cozy ambience in the main-floor living area; a few steps up, cantilevered chairs add modern style around the dining table.

The villa is a short walk from the town of Salema—once a fishing village known for its octopus, now a popular spot for its golden stretch of beach. Slow down to its pace, and you’ll be rewarded with the sight of fishermen hauling in their catch or an afternoon at one of its waterfront restaurants. Golf courses, tennis courts and a spa are a short drive away at Santo Antonio Resort; for more shopping and dining options, drive into Lagos.
