A sublime evening with two perfectly executed Portuguese specialties. We chose bacalhau à Bras (cod, chips, onions, and eggs), which was delicious. Fried fish fillets with coriander rice. A generous portion, very good. And for dessert, Morgado, an incredibly delicious almond paste cake. I returned and had the octopus cataplana, which was amazing and excellent. Bravo to the chefs and a special mention to the waiter; the service was impeccable. Today, I returned, extremely disappointed. The monkfish cataplana was overcooked, tasteless, and too small. We ordered two cataplanas for four people, but only one arrived. We left hungry. Unfortunately, the dishes aren't always successful.

I just finished eating the monkfish cataplane and unfortunately, nothing about it was right. To begin with, the price of one portion is quite high (40 euros). Then, we ordered two cataplanes, which they divided into a single pot to try and disguise the rip-off of the tiny portion, as if we hadn't noticed, lol. Knowing that the dish is mostly made up of shellfish, there was really very little to eat. Furthermore, the shrimp were way overcooked, as was the monkfish, and there was too much broth, which also lacked flavor. The fried cuttlefish we had as a starter were good.
