My place is 4 km from the beach, 1 km from national buses, 100 meters from regional buses and 30 km from Faro airport. It is a simple house, very comfortable, with lots of light, an equipped kitchen and a cozy bed, ideal for couples.
I live in the house with a dog and a cat. My room is on the 1st floor and we share the bathroom. I have 2 more guest bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. The common areas — pool, barbecue, and living room — are shared with all guests.
The space
In these 9 years, the experience has been wonderful for the whole family. Jorgy, our old dog, loves having people at home, and Piruças, the newest cat, is curious, independent, but also very playful and affectionate. My 25-year-old daughter, who is already independent, is sometimes here too and helps out when I’m not home. We sleep on the first floor, and in addition to this room, we have two more rooms available for guests. We all share the kitchen, garden, patio and pool — basically, all the common areas on the ground floor, which include the living room, kitchen, barbecue, pool and garden, are available. What we like most about this experience is being able to meet people and share experiences, which is always very positive!
Guest access
Guests have access to the pool and can use the kitchen to prepare their meals. All common areas on the ground floor — living room, kitchen, barbecue, swimming pool and garden — are available. If I am not present at the time of your arrival, I will send you simple instructions to check in independently. A few steps from the house, 50 meters away, there is also a hypermarket.
During your stay
I really enjoy talking and exchanging experiences, whether about places to visit or about life in general. I appreciate it when guests share suggestions for improvement with me, as this contributes to an even more positive experience for both them and future visitors. I want them to feel at home, not in a hotel. Every night I check the common areas to make sure they are clean and tidy, but I really appreciate it when guests are careful to leave the spaces as they found them. Sometimes I may be absent upon arrival; in such cases, my daughter may replace me, although not always, as she lives in Lisbon. I also have someone who helps me with the cleaning, especially when I’m not there. I only ask that you use the house as if it were your own, with respect for me and the other guests

For this reason, I reserve the right to request compensation if water, gas or electricity consumption significantly exceeds the usual average.
This situation is rare, as common sense and moderate consumption are always expected from guests. However, if necessary, I can provide proof of the average consumption over the last 12 months to justify any request for compensation.
-I have 2 refrigerators and 1 freezer, always reserving a space for each room. There are also empty shelves for guests to arrange their groceries. The washer is available. Outside, next to the kitchen door, there are 2 buckets: one for glass and one for plastic and paper. It is important that the waste is clean, to avoid smell and ants, especially in the summer.
