Exceptional townhouse with private Jacuzzi on the terrace, in the heart of the old town of Olhão, 2 minutes from the waterfront.
The Orientale includes on the ground floor a very large living room and a kitchen, on the first floor the bedroom with terrace and bathroom and a rooftop terrace with its Jacuzzi just for you, solarium and summer kitchen.
Very bright, it overlooks a shared patio with its small fountain and offers very high quality services.
The space
Recently remodeled with the help of a great architect and local artisans, it offers comfort and discreet luxury while respecting the soul and the very special Cubist architecture of the historic center of the old town of Olhão.
A little gem that immerses us in another world of Asian inspiration. Black rubs shoulders with white, current design meets ancient objects. A Jacuzzi on the rooftop terrace with the softness of the water and the strength of the jets, Yin and Yang are present everywhere.
I endeavored to decorate it to create a bubble of calm and light a little out of time, a break of serenity in the heart of the lively streets, shops, restaurants and markets of the largest fishing port of the Algarve and Ria Formosa.
Tastefully chosen ceramic tiles preserving the identity of the place, unique pieces imported from various countries and reminiscent of the old Portuguese colonies, old doors restored by a master carpenter, I wanted to preserve the soul and the often unknown history of Portugal and the Algarve.
All this is combined with today’s comfort, quality beds (king size bed and 2 sofas), quiet reversible air conditioning and a high-performance WIFI installation (fiber) despite the thickness of the walls. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher (because we have something else to do on vacation…), washer-dryer, espresso machine (Dolce Gusto) and much more.
The summer kitchen, on the terrace, with refrigerator, sink and Plancha, allows you to enjoy the sweetness and sunshine of the Algarve and spend unforgettable evenings in front of a drink while enjoying the jacuzzi throughout the year and that you can set from 27º to 40º.
It’s also time to relive memories with Pac-Man, Super Mario, Mario Kart, The Legend of Zelda, Mega Man, Donkey Kong, F-Zero and all the others from the Nintendo Classic for casual evenings at aperitif time around a big screen.
Linens and towels are provided: all the comforts of a real guest house.
No car needed to shop, eat at the restaurant, enjoy the Ria Formosa and access the beaches of the beautiful islands of Culatra, Farol and Armona.
The Orientale is particularly well suited to accommodate a couple or family.
The house is prepared with everything you need for your first continental breakfast:

Guest access
L’Orientale is part of the CasaPadua residence. A group of 5 small townhouses, each with its own unique and refined style and decoration, organized around a fountain and a common patio.
The house is available in its entirety. It is accessed by a private entrance from the patio which is accessible from the street by a digicode.
Keys are available in a combination safe near the door. However, whenever possible, I always try to welcome my guests in person.
