4 months agoA highlight of our trip! We had an amazing time exploring the caves and grottos of Lagos with Rui Pedro dos Reis. He’s incredibly knowledgeable about the area, having grown up locally, and as a second-generation tour operator his boat skills were outstanding. He navigates with precision, confidence and decades of experience. His multilingual abilities made the tour enjoyable for everyone on board, whether they spoke English, Spanish or Portuguese. We felt completely safe, we laughed at his jokes, we were in awe of the views, and the booking communication was reliable from start to finish. We highly recommend this tour, it was an excellent and memorable experience.

5 months agoWonderful tour of the Lagos coast and Ponta da Piedade! Great if you prefer smaller groups (max is 10 but we only had 5!) and a more relaxed experience. Family-owned boat company, multi-lingual and experienced captain, he maneuvered into each of the caves very skillfully, interesting narration about the history of Lagos, boat was comfortable and clean, we even got time to swim, highly recommend!

5 months agoWe had such a fun and amazing trip with Lagos Boat Tours! The owner, Rui Pedro, made the tour even better with lots of interesting and funny facts about the area. You can really tell he loves what he does! Definitely a must-do.

5 months agoSPECTACULAR! Choose this company bc Rui and his Co-Captain Daniel were great guides. Rui, a local, has been experiencing these waters since he was 10 years old and has over 30 years experience himself giving these tours so you can feel safe with this crew! Rui was very knowledgeable, personable, skilled and a great communicator. It was a wavy day, so I didn't think we'd get to see everything but we did. He is such a good captain that we were still able to enter cool coves, go through tunnels and arches where other boat companies didn't venture in. The scenery was incredible! I highly recommend.

Even though the sea wasn’t calm, Captain Rui Pedro took us smoothly surfing the waves like it was so easy and showed us the most beautiful sights of Lagos and Ponta da Piedade Caves. He even makes the tour in four languages at once. The man really knows his job. Thank you Captain Rui Pedro and his assistant Daniel for your kindness and dedication. We’re looking forward to be back.
