5 months agoStupendous, just a brilliant experience. We met at the Prince Henry statue promptly and had a warm welcome from our guide Sophia. We went to 3 different restaurants and tried a multitude of Algarvian treats, where we were encouraged to eat our fill. All within short walks of each other. All restaurants gave us a drink (wine in my case) and we were served promptly, but 3 hours flew by so quickly that I felt sad when it was over. Overall, Sophia was a delight and all foods were delicious. Superb value for money,. I would recommend wholeheartedly x

7 months agoWe had a wonderful time with Sophie taking us around Lagos. We chose to do the morning tour with the market and were so glad we did! The food was delicious and Sophie was such a friendly and knowledgeable guide. I wish we could have taken her around with us on the rest of the trip!

1 year agoOn Feb 4 we took a food and wine tour with our guide Ester. It was outstanding. She was engaging and has a great personality. We had a nice walk through the old town of Faro, and she provided some interesting and historical information about Faro and Portugal. We went to three excellent restaurants. (So good we went back later to one of them during our stay). We had several tapas meals of traditional Portuguese dishes and beverages. I highly recommend this tour if you want to get to know about Faro and Portuguese dining and drinks. Excellent.

11 months agoWe explored Faro with a group of 9 people through a food tour – and absolutely loved it! We've done similar tours in other cities, and it's such a great way to get to know a place. Our guide Ester was fantastic – very dedicated, sharing lots of interesting facts about the city, the food, and Portuguese hospitality. It was a super relaxed and enjoyable evening for all of us. Highly recommended!
