Within 5 minutes walking distance to all the shops, bar’s restaurants and town square.
Casanova is a 3 bed and 2 bathroom traditional Portuguese villa on the frontline of Rua do Paraiso overlooking the Sea.
The views are spectacular
Recently undergone its first phase of renovation to share with the open market for the first time in over 50 years!
It is super comfortable and cosy.
With brand new linen on all the beds. New and gorgeous bath and shower rooms. And lots of added extras to hopefully make your stay feel spoiling and special.
One super king bedroom and two doubles with single beds that can be pushed together, this is a versatile house for a group of friends or families.
The house is pretty, and traditionally decorated with local antiques, ceramics, art and decorative pieces.
From the sitting room upstairs – You can fling open all the doors and windows to take in the sparkling blue ocean and Algarve breeze or, on cooler evenings, light the wood burning fire and curl up on the sofas with Netflix or a book.
We have board games, backgammon, playing cards and lots and lots of books!
Take your sundowner onto the balcony and watch the memorable and amazing sunsets, night after night, from your own front row seat.
The bedrooms are small(ish) but perfectly formed!
– very comfortable, with good sized cupboards, top quality linen, with new pillows and duvets.
All bedrooms have air conditioning and all the windows have shutters.
The terraces are abundant with shrubs and flowers of all colours and tables with chairs to arrange as you need or want.
There are sun loungers, chairs and umbrellas on the terraces and roof.
We are literally a 2-3 minute skip down the stairs to the the sea in front of the gate. Or, if there is seaweed below then a few minutes walk downhill to the village beach
Downstairs the kitchen and separate dining room are very well stocked. With everything a keen chef might need to cater for 8. Fridge freezer, coffee machine, ice trays, toaster, microwave and all pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, utensils etc etc… lots of glasses too!
We will provide a ‘start you off’ welcome to Casanova with Tea, Coffee, Sugar, Olive Oil, salt + Pepper. If you want anything else we can have this delivered to the villa before you arrive – by separate arrangement.
Maria Helena who looks after the villa lives locally – and can help with any needs or questions you might have.
There is a Casanova ‘book’ in the sitting room with lots of information about where to go and what to do and hopefully covers everything you need to know about the house….
Guest access
This is a traditional town house/villa so the house ‘steps up’ as it goes back with stairs between the kitchen and sitting room and steps between terraces and bedroom levels.
Their is a road in front – so please keep an eye on children and keep the gates closed at all times.
Other things to note
The house sits above the steps to the most idyllic, often deserted Paraiso Beach.
If we are at the villa, we swim there. Lately there has been a seaweed problem in the algarve so if it is bad below or if the tides out we take the 3-4 minute walk down to Carvoeiro Beach.
But if you have a car we are a short drive to so many of the infamous picture postcard beaches East and West of us. Marina, Rocha, Alvor, Caneiros Bengali etc are regular haunts of ours.
Same goes for the keen golfers! Lots of courses all around us.
In under an hour you can be surfing in Sagres, or Aljezur.
