The space
The two-bedroom apartments are generously laid out and have ample space for up to 4 guests. They are located in Algar Seco Parque, a small and attractive resort, on the fringe of Carvoeiro. Algar Seco Parque is like no other resort. From the Moorish architecture to typical Portuguese hand painted wall tiles, traditional furnishings from the North of Portugal and decorations from artists in the area, it’s Portugal right at your fingertips. The apartments are situated either on the ground floor or first floor of the “São Rafael” and “São Gabriel” buildings, named after two of the ships that sailed with Vasco da Gama when he discovered the passage to India in 1497.
Inside the two-bedroom apartment you will find a spacious open concept living room with a dining area, and a cozy fireplace (firewood can be provided at a cost) that offers ample warmth for the cooler days. Or if that’s not your style, controlled air conditioning and heating is also available (located in the living room and bedrooms). Satellite TV is provided and allows you to choose an assortment of channels, both national and international. Should you prefer to read, there is a selection of books available to you, either in the apartment or at the Reception.
We have upgraded our Internet to 5G and installed Chromecast. All you need is your phone, tablet or laptop.
From the living room you have access to a private terrace/balcony from where wonderful ocean views await you. Relax and bask in the warm sunlight as you watch the ships pass by… And if you listen closely, you may even be able to hear the waves crashing against the rocks below!
The two bedrooms provide comfortable twin beds for a restful sleep. Beds can be made up as a double upon request. Built-in wardrobes offer plenty of room to store your clothes and all linen and towels (except beach towels) are provided.
A fully equipped kitchen allows you to prepare a meal in the comfort of our own accommodation. Apart from a refrigerator, hob and oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, electric kettle and toaster, a variety of cookware (pots, pans, bowls, etc…) are also available at our disposal.
Our apartments have two bathrooms, one being an en-suite. Most of the units have one bathroom with a tub shower, sink, WC, bidet and hairdryer, whilst the second bathroom has a shower, sink and WC. Some apartments however, have a shower in both bathrooms. They all come equipped with a fan heater so you will feel comfortable in whichever season you choose to stay.
We want to ensure that your experience is an exceptional one. Therefore, we have taken the pleasure in decorating your accommodations by placing freshly picked flowers from the beautiful surrounding gardens. These will be replaced on a daily basis!

Free parking is available on the premises, for your benefit. Whether you have come for business or pleasure, free WIFI is available for all our guests. So, take advantage and sit on the terrace to enjoy the sea view while you work!
The resort is located in a quiet and peaceful area just on the outskirts of the town of Carvoeiro. Guests staying have access to a large outdoor pool area overlooking the ocean and the cliffs of Algar Seco. If you wish to visit, stairs are leading down to these famous rocks – a mysterious world of caves, sculptures, tunnels and shimmering pools. A visit is definitely a must during your stay. The boardwalk from Algar Seco to the little church of Carvoeiro has become a popular tourist attraction; it’s a comfortable walk right along the cliffs towards the village of Carvoeiro. The walk is not long, it takes just a few minutes, but the views are spectacular.
Although not strictly necessary, we do recommend renting a car to explore the many award-winning beaches in the Algarve. Or take a day trip to Monchique, visit the springs and admire the Algarve at your feet from the highest peak of the region, Foia. Visit Silves and the castle or explore the little villages along the coast (Ferragudo, for example). Alternatively take the family to Zoomarine (ocean theme park) or Slide & Splash (waterslide park) for a day – fun guaranteed! These are just a few things to do.
