Praia dos Tesos

When to go: sunset is the most useful named time here, with the beach giving a clear west-facing mood over the water and sand. Low tide matters at least as much as the hour, because the sandbanks are part of what separates Tesos from a simple bathing beach. Midday can still work for clean water colour and minimal compositions, but it will give a flatter, brighter file.

Access is practical rather than polished. You arrive by road, with the final approach described as a gravel road, and parking is limited along it. There are no beach facilities, so bring what you need and keep the shoot self-contained. The route passes salt-marsh country near Tavira, and the wider area pairs naturally with the salinas and Quatro Águas if you are building a quiet eastern-Algarve photo run.
