The space
Quinta Quigima was an old Quinta, restored in a contemporary charming and comfortable style at max. 20 minutes from Faro airport, beaches, sea and golf courses, in an Algarvean rural atmosphere.
The perfect place for 1-2 families or 3 generations with many beautiful views.
With more than 5000m2 of land and 600m2 of house, the house offers several rooms, sitting, piano, computer, TV and dining room, 6 double bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, air conditioning and heating, 21 beds.
4 = The Yellow Room – outside by gallery is a large 4 bed room with en-suite bathroom
2 = The Red room at the front right has 2 beds with en-suite bathroom
2 = The Green room is at the back and at the gallery has 2 beds and the bathroom is right in front of the hallway.
3 = The gray room – upstairs – is the largest room with a double bed and 1 single bed and en-suite bathroom.
4 = The landing above the sitting room has 2 IKEA Hemnes beds which also has a bed underneath – 4 beds total.
2 = The Pool house has a complete apartment with kitchenette and en-suit bathroom and a double bed.
4 = The other pool house room again has 2 of those IKEA Hemnes beds and can be 4 beds.
Terraces around the house. Especially in the summer months, the gallery is a very popular place for young and old, with a ping-pong table, dining table and various benches. The gallery is 34m long and ideal for enjoying the shade.
The courtyard is surrounded by old walls with citrus trees and a playground. Very attractive is the swimming pool of 12 x 6m, large lawn, overlooking fig, almond and olive trees. The pool house offers shade and swimming equipment. The hinterland offers safari beautiful nature with a river for walking, swimming and nature adventure.
Close to many local and international restaurants, shopping centers and for the youth the Algarve’s best known and largest disco / night club.
Vilamoura, the famous marina with many restaurants and lounges, famous resorts such as Vale de Lobo and Quinta de Lago are nearby. The environment is authentic Portuguese.
The house offers all the amenities to enjoy a great time with loved ones and friends.
Pool heating is available at €35 per day for the rental period. The pool has no cover and therefore the pool heater must be running 24 hours a day to be effective. Switching on the pool heater does not guarantee the desired temperature. Generally it will heat the pool by 4-5 degrees Celsius.
For people who want to organize an event: We are very honored to receive all requests for weddings and other events. Unfortunately, we receive the requests so often that we feel the pressure to post this message.
Our house is not available for events for more people than the number of guests staying there.
It is always underestimated how much is involved in terms of costs, permits, logistics and other resources. We got married there and so did our brother. We know suitable alternatives for the big event while you stay with us. Kind regards.

Like all renters we are obliged by the Portuguese and European Union Authorities to provide Guests Passport information to the Portuguese Border Control and require the following for each guest staying prior to check-in: Nationality; Place of birth; Date of birth; Identity card Number or Passport ID number; Address of residence; Country of residence; Date and signature. copies of government-issued ID with the guest name
We created a form to complete this. Any fines arising from failing to deliver or supplying incorrectly will be charged to the guests.
